Privacy policy

Privacy Policy

For the Wire Move Android application (com.wiremove.wire_move), published by M.R KHAN.
Effective 25 August 2026 · Last updated 25 August 2026

The short version Wire Move collects no data. It has no account system, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party SDKs. Everything you record is stored encrypted on your own device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

1. Who publishes this app

Wire Move is published by M.R KHAN, a sole proprietorship registered at Chitrali Bazar, Khalishpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. M.R KHAN is the developer named in the Google Play store listing for Wire Move and is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.

2. What data we collect

None. Wire Move does not access, collect, transmit or receive any personal or sensitive user data. Specifically, we do not collect:

The information you enter is stored only on your device. We have no server that could receive it and no technical means of reading it.

3. How your information is used

Entirely on your device, and only to provide the app's own features: showing your records back to you, and computing the figures Wire Move exists to compute. No processing of any kind happens anywhere else.

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We share nothing, because we hold nothing. There is no third party of any kind: no analytics provider, no advertising network, no cloud backend, no crash reporter and no data broker. No data is sold, rented or transferred, and none could be disclosed in response to a legal request because none reaches us.

If you choose to export or share a backup or CSV file from within the app, that file goes wherever you send it, through your device's own share sheet. That is your action and your choice; the file does not pass through us.

5. Security of your data

Records are held in a local database whose contents are encrypted with AES-256. The encryption key is generated on first run and stored in Android's own encrypted storage, backed by the device keystore — not in the app's own files and not in any file you could accidentally copy.

Because nothing is ever transmitted, there is no data in transit to intercept. The security of the device itself — its lock screen, its updates — is what protects the records on it.

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain nothing, so we have nothing to delete on your behalf. Your records stay on your device until you remove them, and you can remove them at any time:

7. User accounts

There are none. Wire Move has no sign-up, no sign-in, no password and no profile. Nothing identifies you to us, because nothing about you reaches us.

8. Children's privacy

Wire Move is a working tool for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all. This satisfies COPPA and equivalent regimes by construction rather than by policy.

9. Your rights

Rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and objection all concern data a controller holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase. In practice you already have complete control:

10. Third-party services

Wire Move links no third-party SDK: no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no social login, no payment provider. Google Play distributes the app and applies its own policies to that distribution; nothing about the app's own operation involves a third party.

11. Permissions

Wire Move declares a single Android permission, INTERNET, and it exists for exactly one screen: Settings → Privacy policy, which loads this page from mrkhan.store in a WebView so you can read it in the app. Every other feature works with the device offline.

The app requests no runtime permissions at all — no location, no camera, no contacts, no storage, no notifications.

12. Data safety declaration

Our Google Play Data safety declaration states: no data collected and no data shared. There is no data transferred off the device; nothing is encrypted in transit because nothing is transmitted; users can delete all data in-app; and the only permission is INTERNET, for the privacy-policy screen described above.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the revised version is published at this address and the "last updated" date above changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play. The version you are reading is the current one.

15. Legal basis and jurisdiction

Where the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA/CPRA or a comparable regime applies, the data controller is M.R KHAN, at Chitrali Bazar, Khalishpur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. There is no joint controller and no processor, because no processing of personal data takes place: the app performs no collection, and the publisher receives nothing.

For the same reason there is no sale or sharing of personal information within the meaning of the CCPA/CPRA, and no cross-border transfer of personal data to disclose.
